We are in a bit of a down period right now for new books. Most or our more anticipated releases will be later in the year with Dan Brown’s Inferno, John Le Carre’s A Delicate Truth, the elite of fiction including John GrishamJeffery Deaver, Vince Flynn etc., and countless highly anticipated non-fiction books including The Bully Pulpit by Doris Kearns Goodwin, End of Days by James Swanson, Killing Jesus by Bill O’Reilly just to name a few. We have had a few high profile book releases already in 2013 however, the following represent the most high profile of those releases.
- Life Code by Phil McGraw
- Shred by Ian Smith
- Coolidge by Amity Shlaes
- A Memory of Light by Robert Jordan
- Alex Cross, Run by James Patterson
Each of these books are doing well in their respective categories along with holdovers from last year The Duck Commander Family (for more click here), Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, and of course spurred by the author’s tragic death, American Sniper by Chris Kyle. Interestingly, one of the bestselling books this year has been ObamaCare Survival Guide by Ben Tate as the public tries to come to grips with the newest healthcare overhaul. Hopefully the spring will bring each of us an exciting array of reading possibilities.
